Become a Member of our 2018 Flower CSA
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A flower CSA works in the same way as popular vegetable CSAs. A member typically joins in the winter or early spring before the growing season begins. This investment helps our farm buy seeds and other supplies for the upcoming season. Members choose whether to receive a (a) bouquet or (b) bucket share of fresh, local flowers weekly or every other week from selected dates during the spring, summer and early fall.
When you join Petal + Seed’s CSA, you’ll receive fresh and fragrant blooms that have been grown in a field where wildlife-friendly and sustainable practices are a top priority. Beautiful spring blooms include unique varieties of tulips, narcissus, poppies, anemones, and ranunculus as well as interesting spring foliage and textures. Summer blooms include early sweet peas, snapdragons, and poppies to dahlias and zinnias and followed with heirloom chrysanthemums in the fall.
All of our flowers are grown locally and usually picked within 24 hours that members receive their share! We offer deliveries in southern Oregon to addresses within Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, and Medford. If you are outside of these areas, please email us to arrange a pickup location. Read below to learn more about our bouquet and bucket share options.
The bouquet share consists of a hand-crafted bouquet from Petal and Seed’s design studio. We incorporate unique varieties of fresh, seasonal, and fragrant blooms and foliage wrapped up in a brown paper sleeve and delivered to your home or business. Members simply fill a vase with fresh water, snip the ends of the flower stems, and place the bouquet in the vase for a lovely addition to their home or business.
The bucket share is a great option for those who love to design their own floral arrangements. It is also a perfect option for local restaurants to fill table vases and create statement pieces for prominent spaces such as the bar and hostess stand. Members will receive a bucket stuffed full of loose stems of several varieties of flowers and foliage, perfect for making a combination of small bouquets and dazzling statement pieces. Buckets are returned when you receive a new batch of flowers so there is no wasted packaging and they can be cleaned and reused throughout the season.
